This project explores the use of Tyvek in an inflatable shelter. Our goals were to create a ring of enclosure utilizing multiple sections while maintaining an entirely open cavity to facilitate quick inflation and installation. We experimented with techniques of attaching different sections of Tyvek, enhancing the entry and ribbing pattern with an extra-large zipper. This project demonstrates the potential of inexpensive and light-weight material to create versatile and aesthetically pleasing designs for projects requiring expediency.
